See you for the 69th Edition! 〰️ Sunday 11th may 2025 〰️
Welcome to our new website
It’s work in progress - please bear with us whilst we keep adding to it!
It all started when…
The first Lincoln Grand Prix was held in the summer of 1956 and had attracted a strong entry. After 90 miles of racing Bob Eastwood from Huddersfield RC narrowly outsprinted former Tour of Britain winner Tony Hewson and local star Nev Crane.
The event is steeped in rich history and past winners really do form a who’s who of British cyclists! A Women’s event was introduced in 2015 that is now building a significant history all of it’s own.
The Rapha Lincoln GP is the oldest running, biggest day of road racing in the UK - and often referred to as the last remaining ‘monument’! Read the Full History of the event here, and you can see the winners from over the years right here.
68 and counting
2025 will see the 69th edition of the men’s event and 9th edition of the Women’s race.
